To effectively safeguard the company’s overall value and the legitimate rights and interests of all shareholders, stabilize market expectations, and boost investor confidence, COSCO SHIPPING Holdings announced a major new share buyback plan on July 6, 2026.

Regarding the A-share buyback, the Company will repurchase a total of 50 million to 100 million A-shares through centralized competitive bidding. Calculated based on the maximum A-share buyback price of RMB 15.40 per share, the estimated total buyback amount ranges from RMB 770 million to RMB 1.54 billion, with the actual amount to be determined by the subsequent implementation.

The implementation period for this share repurchase shall not exceed three months from the date the Board of Directors approves the repurchase plan. All repurchased shares will be canceled, resulting in a reduction of the registered capital.

In addition to repurchasing A-shares, the Company intends to simultaneously implement an H-share buyback under the general authorization granted by the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, the First A-Share Class General Meeting of 2026, and the First H-Share Class General Meeting of 2026, in accordance with the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, the Company’s Articles of Association, and other applicable laws and regulations.

The new round of share repurchase plan announced today not only reflects the Company’s firm commitment to aligning its share price with its intrinsic value but also sends a strong signal of the Company’s high confidence in its long-term growth potential.
